NBI Solutions is excited to share with you that as of September 14, 2021, we announced an agreement to merge with Ignite Collaboration Service Group & Ignite Security Solutions Group to become Ignite Technology. Together, NBI and Ignite will be an industry leader in the Collaboration, Security, and the Managed IT solutions space.
The pace of change within the technology industry has been accelerating for quite some time, which requires consistently higher levels of innovation, investment, and scale. To that end, we believe that now is the right time to join forces with Ignite and position our combined company for future growth. This combination will enable us to further accelerate the pace of investments and innovation to address your future needs. As a joint company with the scale and service, we will be able to provide increased value to your organization, as well as access to a larger network of vendors, products, and geographies.
As with previous M&A transactions we have looked for a partner that is the right fit for our company, and we believe that the combination with Ignite is compelling for several reasons. First, we will be able to accelerate our growth trajectory beyond what we could have done by making several smaller acquisitions over a longer time. Second, given the complementary geographic footprints between us and Ignite, we immediately gain a truly national presence with which to better serve you. Third, we can further expand our offering and provide you a larger and more robust portfolio of products, solutions, and services. Lastly, both NBI and Ignite share similar values and strong, employee-driven cultures, which we expect to build upon as a joint company of over 100 talented employees. We believe this transaction will allow us to provide you with more solutions and capabilities as we look to make increased investments in high-value areas of growth like Hybrid Cloud, Security and Everything as a Service.
Steven Taylor, President and CEO of Ignite will be the CEO of the combined company. Doug Thubron will be the President of the Solutions division, with an active role in the ongoing strategy, integration, and cloud business, among other responsibilities. Robert Kitella will maintain his leadership role within Ignite. Bob and Doug look forward to working alongside Steven moving Ignite forward.

In the meantime, until transaction close, NBI and Ignite remain separate companies and you can expect everything to remain “business as usual”. We expect the transaction to close at the end of September 2021, subject to customary reviews.
